Bangkok is a tourist’s paradise.

If you are bored with the usual malls, you may need to try Asiatique night market. One of the open markets of the world – like Pondy bazaar of Chennai – but in a massive scale.
How to go?
It is located on the banks of Chao Phraya river. There seems to be a boat facility. But my guys took me on the BTS sky train (Bangkok metro). You need to get down at Saphan Taksin station. If you are not sure, easy to take a taxi.

Why Asiatique?
You will find a variety of stalls, eateries in ‘multiple rows and columns’.
Do you mathi kettan solai (the forest of the lost person)? It is located in Kodaikanal forests. If you lose your way, you can neither reach your target nor come back. Asiatique is like that. If you miss your co-visitor, it is difficult to find him/her back. You need to know the building, row and shop number to trace.

This is food paradise. This is also a shopper’s paradise. You will find many shops – souvenir shops, text tiles, eateries, local food, international food, entertainment hubs – what else do you need?

Do you ask me what did I purchase? Nothing.. I had good food :D.
