Happy Monday everyone! Today I wanted to share with you an incredible story I recently read by Tomichan Matheikal. The story is about two friends, who are ‘young seniors’, and their emotional reunion after a long time apart. The story is steeped in nostalgia, something I’ve been reading about since I was a schoolboy in short trousers, yet I never tire of it.
I was so moved by the story that I asked the author for permission to include it in my translation portfolio. I’m incredibly grateful to him for granting me the permission and to Sahana Magazine and Story Mirror for publishing it. If you haven’t read it yet, I recommend it – it’s truly mesmerising.
