(Translated Tamil Story) சூலித்தெருவில் ஒரு சிறுவன் | Suchita Agarwal

As the weekend approaches, it is time to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a few moments of peace and relaxation. For those of us who are looking for something a little more interesting than the usual weekend activities, I have a story for you that is sure to captivate readers of all ages.

This week I came across Suchita’s story that takes place in a typical crowded street of rural India. It tells the tale of a young boy who has a chance encounter with an old woman. Through their conversation, the we learn valuable life lessons that will stay with us forever.

I was so moved by this story that I wanted to share it with the world, so I reached out to the author and asked for permission to translate it and share it with a larger audience. Thankfully, Sahana was kind enough to help me out and publish the story.

So this Saturday, I invite you to take a break and read Suchita’s story. I promise it will be time well-spent. Enjoy!

English: ‘The old woman’s good fortune

Tamil: சூலித்தெருவில் ஒரு சிறுவன்

I am a writer. At different times, I have been a teacher, an agency recruit, a master’s degree holder, and a social media executive. All work as secret identities for my plan to takeover the literary world…one post, one manuscript, one book deal at a time. What I love above all else are desserts, reading and learning.
